Pierre is a household organization app (chores, budget, notes, habits, calories, water, recipes, meal planning, journal, and calendar). This page explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and how to delete it.
Account information: your email address, a securely hashed password (never stored or transmitted in plain text), and the display name you choose.
Household content: whatever you enter while using the app — chores, budget categories and expenses, notes, habits and habit logs, calorie and weight entries, water intake, recipes, grocery lists, meal plans, journal entries, and calendar events. This data belongs to your household and is only accessible to accounts within that household.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
Solely to provide the app's features to you: authenticating your account and storing/retrieving your household's data. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Two features make outbound requests to public, free third-party APIs on your behalf:
The app itself is hosted on Fly.io, which stores the application database on our behalf under our infrastructure account.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen. If you're the only member of your household, this also deletes all of that household's data (chores, budget, notes, everything). This action cannot be undone.
Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored or logged in plain text. All data is transmitted between the app and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Pierre is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children under 13.
If our data practices change, this page will be updated accordingly.
